Hi, I got a accounting manager job offer from Fidelity Boston. I was wondering 1) how does it feel working at Fidelity? pressure? Overtime? 2) their base salary is not much higher ($120k) than my current but their bonus plus profit sharing seems good (totaling 25%). What do you think?
Congrats on the offer! I’m not close to Fidelity, but I say you take it! Take the risk
Can’t speak to accounting as I’m in a different group, but the benefits are definitely real. WLB is generally pretty important across the firm as I’m aware, and my experience has been that overtime expectations have been pretty clear and flexible - seasonally busier in tax season, less busy in a normal summer, etc.
1.5x pay on OT too if you’re in an hourly role.
Thank you for the information!
Hi OP, can you pls tell what is your profile?
congrats on the offer! just note that it takes five years to fully vest the profit sharing and 401k match. i am in a different function, so cant really comment on work intensity as an accounting manager.
Thank you for the insight! Great to know!
Hey @ybba, do you have any idea about fidelity's quantitative investment rotational program? I've been selected for the first round but can't find any good info regarding the program
