Just a heads up.
Not sure if it is worth moving from vanguard to fidelity though. Vanguard index funds has performed better than similar index funds in Fidelity in the past.
Their respective SP500 funds are basically identical. But yeah, not worth the taxable event to move to Fidelity.
You can still do an “in-kind transfer” from vanguard to fidelity and avoid taxation, but still, without knowing long-term performance of these fidelity zero funds, and given past performance of vanguard vs. fidelity funds, we don’t know who will be the winner. When fidelity zero has a long term history which turns out to beat similar funds in Vanguard, then maybe.
Is there a way to see fund portfolio? In prospectus they vaguely say that they get stocks based on some criterias, but don't say what are they.
Beware loading. To pay for the fund they often hide a fee in the form of selling to you slightly higher than market and buying just below market... if you don’t trade often and have lots of long term price change, it’s insignificant.
That’s more common mutual funds rather than index funds. A shares are the devil
What is "A shares"?
