Hey all, What is your favorite news/megazine to follow the current events and market? I typically go to yahoo finance or just use the news app on my iphone every morning but want to hear what others do. There are quite a few options (WSJ, Bloomberg, etc), what's your favorite and WHY? Thanks! #finance #news #market
Bloomberg. I like their overall UI and design.
I hear daily news podcasts like NPR Marketplace https://www.npr.org/podcasts/381444600/marketplace (or Nightly Business Report that aired on CNBC which has recently been stopped.) Use any podcasts app. I use Castbox https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fm.castbox.audiobook.radio.podcast since I can ask it to automatically download these episodes once aired.
WSJ is really THE news source for the industry, at least in the US.
I like WSJ but also catch up with Harvard Business Review, The Economist, MIT Business. Some of them lean to certain political aspect so I just skim all and get my opinion
WSJ. Dont trust the bias in most sources - and besides Op/Ed page, WSJ has remained "clean" - and the breadth of business coverage is unmatched.
Agreed. For finance news specifically I use WSJ and Bloomberg, rotating between the two to get different perspectives. In general, I read BBC and NYTimes in addition to the finance news sources, as well as an Asian paper called South China Morning Post to follow the news in China (as it is hugely important for supply chain predictions).
