Hi,
My wife is currently on H4 and has a valid H4 EAD till Dec 23. She is halfway through her grad studies (MS in CS) and expecting to graduate in Dec'2022. I want to hear about other experiences on finding jobs in H4 EAD.
1) Do all companies accept H4 EAD?
2) Any recommendation on staffing agencies for finding a job apart from reaching out to recruiters on LinkedIn and applying directly?
3) Did anyone able to secure an internship on H4 EAD?.

Most companies I’ve worked at have no issues accepting H4 EADs. I have hired H4 EAD folks across companies I’ve worked at with no issues.
In fact, companies prefer it because there’s no hassle of H1B transfer etc. Some companies do require that they will apply for an H1B for that employee in the upcoming lottery so that you have your own status and aren’t dependent on your spouse’s status. But that doesn’t stop you from joining that company and at least starting your work on the H4 EAD. Also since H4 EAD renewals are taking ridiculously long these days, they might need you to switch to H1B whenever the next lottery happens (if you get picked).
Yes, internships on H4 EAD are not at all an issue either.
