https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2001191 The virus has up to 14 day incubation period where there could be no symptoms, can evade tests, but still can be contagious. The first case in US was a 35 year old guy who works at Amazon (I cannot find any US sources reporting this but have heard this rumor from 3 different people in Chinese circles) and he went to work for 2 days before he went to the hosptal. As a tech worker in Seattle, I’m worried that the virus has already been spread to other Amazonians and we are just waiting through the incubation period. Anyone else worried? Did Amazon give any kind of notice to employees? Anyone know the guy? Also, if you work at Amazon and you have a cough and persistent low grade fever, you should probably go get that checked out (even if you’ve never been to China).
CDC says contagion is most likely in close contact, so be a good antisocial SWE and you’ll be fine
Not hard for Amazon engineers- it’s natural
I would say that Amazon should send out a note and for gods sake don’t spread it more - 2 days is a long time and it has definitely infected many
Amazon care about employee health and safety??
That screenshot is fake. You can manipulate the client side JavaScript and make it show different numbers then take a screenshot.
