Hello friends,
I had a 2 hour video interview with Wells Fargo on Thursday. It went well. The recruiter called me yesterday, and informed me that the team finished interviewing all candidates and they want to know my comp expectations in order to make a decision. They need a range from me by Monday.
During my initial screen with the recruiter, she told me the range for the role is 145-155k, level is senior associate, and would require relocation to San Francisco. The role is 70% data analytics and 30% PM. The team focuses on operational excellence transformation.
I have 12 YOE, live in Nyc, and 155k seems like a low ball number, especially for financial services.
Thoughts please?
Edit: I should mention I'm currently unemployed. Was previously at jpmorgan. My whole team was eliminated.

If you are more senior (director/executive director+) and have good bonuses, the extra is given as deferred comp, typically with a 3 year vest. Normally options.
