Both are fast growing pre IPO startups. For new grad, which place seems like it has a better future/IPO upside? Anduril: - earlier stage - huge upside in defense, recession proof, more "controversial" indusrry (not an issue personally) - better location (OC is much sunnier than SF/Chicago) - probs not be outsourced/offshored bc it's defense - WLB not great Flexport: - huge industry (freight forwarding) - more established--maybe too late for IPO $$ - small bit more base salary.. but not enough to be that significant #flexport #tech #anduril #newgrad
What’s your tc at each
Anduril to escape these hellishly liberal companies shoving bullshit down our throat day in day out
intern conversion? 👀
Flexport for sure. Regarding the valuation, it's currently at 5b in a 2T industry, so still enough upside!
Anduril has a handful of OG ex-Flexporters
Hey man. What is it like working at flex port? I don’t have any DMs left. I have 7yoe but I am mid level in web development. 5 years in embedded. Is it worth trying to go for senior even though I don’t have the skills or design chops?
Yeah but the ex-Flexporters at Anduril aren’t a selling point
Flexport has a ton of potential (I’m biased) but these two companies are both amazing. I’d probably pick Anduril by a very slight margin just for LA.
Definitely Flexport. Great trajectory and mission. The best time to join was yesterday. Th second best is now. Don't know much about Andruil, but you cannot go wrong with Flexport.
Can you please describe a bit more about the ‘Great trajectory’? How has it been? What gives you the confidence?
Definitely Anduril. How was their interview?
