Generally what’s the score needed to get hired for the onsites ? I know each person rates out of 5 and then they meet to discuss but do your need to get perfect score to be hired or just over 3 or what’s the barrier for an offer ? I know they meet to discuss after too but generals what’s the score needed for an offer

  • Scale is to 4, not 5. 3 is passing. Basically need at least passing or around passing (2.9, 2.8 is pushing it) for every module to move forward. Sometimes a great module can negate a poor module. The final decision is not objective and is up to the hiring manager after getting feedback from interviewers

    • Yes decimals are given but its how the scale works. Scores go to the tenths place.

Do more rounds help here? I have the standard 4 rounds for SDE 1 + some HM rounds to talk to the team. Those sound like easier to get good scores on than a coding round. Would those even be weighted?
