I had an onsite interview at Walmart and met few team members yesterday. Today the recruiter reached out to me asking for last video interview with the VP of the team. Can someone share thoughts and what to expect?
It’s a good sign, do the meeting.
Thanks !
Who is the VP BTW. I can give more insight about the team and work.
Honestly, this is a really nice offer but I’d suggest OP decline.
I wasn't asking VP name. Just the org name is enough.
I don’t feel good about mentioning anyone’s name 😊 I hope I am not offending you ! What is OP decline btw ?
decline...the poster’s invitation to share the name.
Unfortunately I have not a good experience here. I had a similar situation happen with a VP. They further followed up the VP video chat with another video chat with a junior member on the team and finally declined. But also in my case, the role I originally interviewed for vs. the one they had me chat with VP about were different. They rejected me for both unfortunately. Feel free to DM if you need more details :)
I know things can go wrong at any stage. I don’t want to keep my hopes high but want to make sure I give my best shot !!
Yeah I had finished proper 4 onsites as well. Recruiter shared that feedback was all positive and then these video calls happened :(
Seriously? You should talk to our senior engineers, managers and directors first and realize what you are gonna leave behind in life. Anyways, Good luck!
Unless you say something stupid, you are getting the offer.
Sounds like you're about to switch! Can you please refer me to a couple of positions before you leave? 😋
Haha ping me!
On it 😄

How can I find success dating in NYC
You’ve been screened enough to determine that you’re competent enough to occupy a VP’s time. It’s likely that he or she just wants to meet new hires before extending an offer is my assumption.
What would a VP see in a candidate? I want to make sure I present myself well enough
You can relax and get a good night’s rest. You’re a good fit for the position, the team, and the org. I don’t know what your exact job title is but if it’s anything like Amazon there are hundreds of VPs. Recruiting is over. Sounds like a sanity check (Zuck or Page “approving” new hires). Use the time to ask about the organization and engage with whatever the team’s focus is.
