Commute will suck after few months.. peak or off peak doesn’t matter
South Bay - condo
I grew up in San Ramon, it’s nicer than Dublin (and Pleasanton I think). Not sure about Fremont. San Ramon has a lot of new houses up Bollinger, but that will add even more time to the commute.
I grew up in San Ramon, so I'm obviously partial. But, you're not gonna get much for 950. Maybe an older 1600 sq ft house these days. But it was a wonderful place to grow up, so I'd say it's worth. Better than the other 3, IMO
Much different out there now than it was growing up.
I live in Fremont Irvington district. I think on average you will get all your requirements in Fremont.
Fremont if you are okay with older house or town homes. Dublin has more new inventory but the commute sucks if you work in South Bay or peninsula. San Ramon is good in terms of neighborhood but sucks in commute to any where.
Buy in Fremont or South Bay if you work this side. Buy in Dublin if you work in SF.
Actually Fremont has many more new homes coming up recently. So the older homes may not be true completely
Why not Milpitas?
Danville.
Thats even farther than San Ramon
Dude. You’re already driving 90 minutes each way? Are you going to let an extra 5-10 minutes on the freeway become the deal breaker? Most of the SR developments are 15 minutes from the 680 exit anyway. Depending on where in Danville your commute is no different. I just sold my home in SR and I’m buying in Danville.
@OP: What did you end up deciding?
