Thanks Blind!

Idk how many people will come across this but just wanted to say thanks :) I cracked into PM at a tech company thanks to you all.

I come from a non business background (physics/premed) and through a ton of networking, this one lady told me about Blind. And from there on I've learned a ton from you all. I'm a nobody compared to people here lol no faang job and no 400k tc, heck not even 200k lol. I learned not only how the some of the richest people in the world think and live their lives but I also learned how to crack into PM. I only heard of PM field in 2017 - same time I learned about consulting, and difference between finance and accounting: during my masters. So please don't judge on why I chose PM...ik a ton of people here don't like it. After hearing about every field, PM seemed the best fit for me...

If not for countless posts and helpful people here, I wouldn't have gotten my first ever PM job. This post is actually long overdue because I already had my first week and it went great. And this wouldn't have been possible without a ton of posts and links and dms from here so thank you!!!!!! It still feels surreal... I don't have huge dreams like getting into top tech company or Hedge fund (although huge fan of SpaceX) but I did dream of getting into PM to learn how to make/deliver/expand products that helps society. I'll use everything I learn here to eventually start my own company to help others. Even before that happens - I'm at anyone's disposal that I can help. As I mentioned, idk much coding nor do ik how to get into google. But I'm more than happy to help on anything.

PS: feel free to shower advices about PM, dealing with engineers/designers, TC, life, what kind of ice cream to get, etc.
