According to the article, she had invalid visa. She got upset, confronted and started filming in front of the officer (possibly drunken). Imagine someone does this in US airport. TSA will gladly arrest the person and put her in jail. If you look to have potential to be violent, you would be tasered at minimum or shot to death. Dubai is a third world country despite high income. Child treatment between developed country vs others is where you see the drastic differences. Given the situation, it is hard to believe what she says as it is but I will give you that yeah they might have done something horrible by developed world standard.
