Full day interview at Goldman Sachs
Help! I am quite nervous right now. I am scheduling a full day interview at Goldman. I was told that this is going to be a full day, and it’s for a strat role so it sounded like I will meet everyone from each team on the (trading) floor. (I’m currently a SWE working with traders.) They also mentioned expect video interviews with the folks outside NY, and to expect two interviewers at once as well. Could someone help me what I should be focusing to prep for this strat interview that is for a full day? ps. Are they gonna give me a lunch break? Yes, they will buy lunch from office cafeteria. I remember having 11 interviews. I find their interview process hypocritical. I was not coveting the job that’s why didn’t stress about it. But if you want this job then those many interviews can be very stressful.

Their TC is comparatively on lower side You can get better deal for same effort else where in tech companies

Where are you working now?
Strats these days, in most of the cases, are just developers with some math background. To be honest, most of them just debug or maintain existing secdb/slang models. Make sure this is what you want.

Goldman wont pay u much for these types of roles. Try a tech company instead.
