Seeing their posted positions and they mention base salary range on their job postings. For positions in senior AI/ML roles, base is 120k-150k only. This is ridiculously low. How do they get away by paying so low? Is it because of remote candidates?

    I'm still negotiating an offer, but the initial offer I got had base 20K above thier max listed . True they pay less compared to big tech. It's for DS role

      I did ask for 140 but that also seems low and they might not agree, so we’ll see. Location is Denver or Chicago.

      @kppppp are their any specific data engineering or ml teams at PAN that might be good to work with?

    • unfortunately i'm not in ENG so i can't say but there are a lot of PAN eng on blind so if you create a post you'll probably get answers. they complain all the time in our private space about good or bad teams to work with. in general experiences can be totally different between business units.

    • Hey IQVIA. They did not low ball me before. They said they giving me the max base for my location. I guess I’m skeptical about not having joining bonus as I see on blind a few received RSU + Joining bonus. But I just received RSU and was told there won’t be bonus

    • Not much stock as I know of. The TC is just very lowπŸ˜‚ but guess there are always people in the market looking for ml jobs, so they can still recruit people with low salary…

      So I guess they don't care much about employees or hiring top talent. Very sad. I am not looking but my spouse was looking in healthcare marketing and the base turned her off.

      Btw they can only hire fresh grads with that TC in ML. No experienced ML ppl will work for that.
