  • Tired all 3 at max risk for a few years for fun. So far schwab>>>>>wealthfront>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>betterment.

      Public2, did you even have an account in Schwab Intelligent portfolio, doesn’t seem like you did.

      70% stocks is considered high risk, I believe this allocation was set from the risk assessment score of 7 or above.

      A low risk portfolio would be if you had stocks in 20-30% allocation and bulk is in bonds and treasury bills.

      If a robo advisor or any bank for that matter advised me to allocate 100% in stocks regardless of what my risk appetite is, I’d run from them as fast as I could. That’s essentially gambling on a roulette wheel.

    • Did and still so. Actually have 2 if you must know. The point was if you were going to invest 100 dollars in the s&p and 100 in a robo portfolio then during a bull run of course the stock market will beat your other assets. The robo value is when the market fluctuates or declines. I am 100% stock, my time horizon is very long. You get to choose your risk appetite of course :)

    I outperformed betterment by like 17% with most just in indexes and a few coin flips thrown in for thrills.
