I am an Indian citizen, single and away from home since 2019. I now am not enjoying work much, keep thinking about the loss of touch with family and friends. I am definitely reeling in depression and can’t just stand all the BS from managers, fake friends and this dark City.
I thought about switching jobs or roles, but these 2years have affected me so much that I can’t even concentrate on Interview prep.
I refrain from commenting on COVID and China, but I think my glass is now full.

I’m from PNW too, I know this weather is not for everyone, especially those who are alone.
Once you switch cities, you might get motivation to change companies.
Most Indian men are depressed in the US because they are single. Once you get married see how your fortunes change and how you will stick with the US until your last breath.
(Most will think this advise is dumb, but I have known several indian males like OP who wanted to move back to India due to loneliness but once their parents hooked them up they decided to settle down in the US)
Or consider a partner. Wife and GF. That will help you to cheer up. Still not working, GTFO truly.
