A month ago I created this post "Instacart Offer" https://us.teamblind.com/s/Yi1xP2ad mainly to complain about the clawback and other problems. Today I saw someone from instacart said they removed the clawback. Although I haven't verified that yet, but I'm extremely happy with the news. The whole purpose of the other post was to warn future candidates. But now, I think it is a regular company with its pros and cons. Accepting an Instacart offer no longer counts as gambling with my money anymore. It is so great to know that my post and each reply there had a little tiny effect on the decision. Please, keep pushing and don't be afraid to speak up. It is definitely worth it, even if you moved on, it helps existing and future employees. Instacart employees, please know the other post was not to shame you or your decision, it was to shame only the clause the company created. In fact, it was to help you as much as it helps me and other candidates. The community definitely is grateful to have you and have the people who spoke up in the post. As for me, I've accepted an offer for G and joining soon. #instacart
Thanks op and appreciate your gesture here 👍🏻
Best of luck to you!
How are they doin given the pandemic is done? I stopped using it months ago
No. 4 from your other post is so toxic that no other benefit outweighs it. Recruiters should not be asking that. Even if it to explain a benefit. Fuck.
Lot of credit to blind community and people driving awareness and putting pressure on our executives. Many people joined wasn’t aware about the risk of clawback until they see discussions on blind about how a company tends to fire you then ipo. This drove lots of us to unite on blind and upvote the question so it gets visibility/priority on the question list for weekly executive (Ask me anything) we voted and asked question about clawback EVERY week in company AMA for 4 months straight. Many employees also believed that this approach was disloyal, annoying, and useless but they are WRONG!
Can someone from Instacart confirm that clawback is not there anymore now?
How about the ones joined with clawback on their offers?
There will be an amendment to have it removed
Whenever someone said they joined Instacart, I instantly knew they didn’t do their due research. It’s a cheap impostor built on a an unsound business model and a shitty culture. The only thing real about Instacart is its hype and it will be gone soon as COVID is over.
Thank you!
Instacart is a scam
Hope you know how Doordash works if u use it. Apple prices are scam as well🤣
Coinbase, use your common sense. There are retailers with instore prices labeled. Use that.
