Now they are complaining they can't pass interviews and/or not having enough drive to pursue a tech career. Who am I talking about?

I don't give a shit about special privileges, I just want a basic level of respect.
If you were on a sports team and management decided to start meeting diversity quotas, so they ignore highly qualified male athletes and choose to wait until a (possibly) qualified female applies, how can anyone respect that process? Complete garbage and doesn't make any sense, in terms of respect.
I feel these two statements are at odds. How do you know this unless you've continued to cultivate said "finesse" in the "single" world while married?
So many questions.
All I personally want is respect.
