Considering how fast EB2 has moved for Indian origin in last 2 years, how long would it take for priority date filed in 2019 to be current? Want to keep my reality check in place.

USA does not like Indians and deliberately does this to prevent them from getting gc. All other reasons are just excuses, no other excuse for deliberately torturing high skilled educated taxpayers just so that their morale breaks down and they contemplate going back.

Agree partially. The system works well for employers who want to have a second class citizens in the labor force. This keeps wages overall depressed. Believe me, if for some magical reason all Indians are granted GC and we make it impossible to exploit a single country line, the discussions and lobbying by corporates will be very different.

      Lawyers will cry foul.

Considering recent years - if you want to make predictions based on last 2 years, please note that you should also assume once in 100 year pandemic to happen in the next few years for you to get your green card in the next decade.

Realistically, your wait time is 200 years with no change in laws. You will die, your kids die and theirs too.

You should assume you have already been denied for being born Indian. Assuming anything else, you might as well wish for a lottery, since that has better chances (again outside of any meaningful legislation)

You can’t extrapolate from the last two years. Once family based GC / consular processing picks up it will slow down again. However, you can expect it within 10 years.

It is wrong to extrapolate based on past performance. It depends on input and output and per country cap.

Every year you are away from current date, you are 7-10 years away roughly. In 2007 a republican admin made GC current. That's why the current dates are in 2010ish. It moved to 2014 due to covid, but you can't keep expecting another COVID every few years. Once October dates will go back and depending on the wastage, we will likely land in 2012-2013 (again this is guess - but the ballpark is reasonable).

Once you understand this, you will realize that the 100+ year wait is real and that it doesn't matter to be accurate whether it is 90 or 150 years. It's already denial by county of birth. It's saying "indians no more apply". Anything beyond 45 year wait is useless IMO, as you retire by then (25+45=70) and you will be kicked out as you lose temporary status before that.

Some think their kid sponsoring GC is their key, but there are lots of if and buts there.
