Has this process changed in the last year? I was recruited last summer and wasn't selected, but just heard from a recruiter again this past week. Doing a little research it seems like the process has changed but wondering if anyone can comment. Last Time: 1. Initial Recruiter 2. Second Recruiter 3. Hangout with 1 person (Technical Knowledge + STAR type questions) 4. Hangouts with 3 people.. (All STAR type questions) This is where it ended for me 5. Onsites with 5 people as well as a technical use case/POC presentation (build something assigned by Google on GCP and present it) 6. Hiring Committee. 20 YOE, 200k
The recruiter will fill you in. It’s reduced tremendously
If you cant clear this then you suck man lol. Just kidding
There is a little honesty here... But best of luck!
Should be something like: 1. Initial recruiter 10 question multiple choice tech screen 2. Onsite invite by second recruiter who does that office staffing 3. Googlyness/behavioral (45min), GCA (45min), RRK w/ whiteboarding (60min) interviews 4. Possible follow-up hangout interviews if they find some phase is worth improvement on and you're a desirable candidate. 5. Forever wait for all feedback and approvals. GCP unique HCs. The hiring manager in this process has alot more leeway in making the call, so resumes are gonna play a big part.
What kind of multiple choice questions in recruiter tech screen?
This time it will be easier. Hiring at GC is like interviewing at Oracle/SAP. You should be able to clear
What's changed? Had to dumb it down for us salesy folks? :)
Yes
