TC 325 GCP have changed their interview process. For customer/sales engineer roles they've added white boarding and leadership questions instead of building a technical demo. RRK & Googlyness questions are still there but no more GCA What type of white boarding scenarios should I expect? Are they role based? for example required to white board specialized networking/security concepts or they are general: how a major app such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram work? Some recruiters aren't very technical to answer specific questions and rely on scripts. What about culture fit questions? Are they looking for particular traits?
I was told three interviews for my onsite. GCA Leadership, and RRK
Love all the MSFT technical specialists jumping ship :) what are the acronyms you’re using (RRK / GCA)?
RRK: Role related knowledge GCA; general cognitive ability ( strategic thinking and how you find solutions to a given problem very quickly). I went for the interview, overall good experience and interview isn't hard. My RRK interviewers weren't super technical and didn't understand half of advanced products and tech I told them about. TC, role and location after negotiation wasn't what I wanted. I may apply for another California based role when their head count is finalized.
What TC were they offering and your YOE?
What was your TC offer if you don’t mind sharing.
Not the case at all. Got RRK with case study GCA and Googlyness
