The Rust moderation team of well-known devs has resigned https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=29306845 citing some vague problems in the Core team. It was hard to research, but this comment about a Core member has clarified the situation for me https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=28633113. The /r/rust removes any mentions of her toxic conduct. #rust

Why are white people so extreme? Am I the only who feels this?

Itโ€™s like, flying Confederate flags and stocking Aunt Jemimaโ€™s on one hand, and banning white men from speaking at conferences on the other.

Like whatโ€™s happening with you people? Earnest questions.

True, the moderates donโ€™t get much attention.

I think extremism is very American though right. We have extreme sports, extreme music. Extreme eating contests. Like even the Boston Tea Party was an extreme response to taxation without representation.

This Ashley chick though cracks me up. She talks SO much crap about white men and their privilege, and then proceeds toโ€ฆdate a white man and benefit from his privilege. Canโ€™t make this shit upโ€ฆ

    • Society is becoming very polarized. The loudest most radical opinions are those that get noticed in the tech/information age. Thereโ€™s a feedback loop happening right now, the trend is likely to continue.

All the leftist/feminist women are like this too itโ€™s nuts lol
