i have received a job offer which is offering 115K base salary in connecticut with an additional upto 20% if company targets are met. Plus regular benefits. Is this a good salary package to live in connecticut?

I have 8 YOE with MS in related field.

I can see why ppl don’t want to live. The infrastructure and accessibility to high quality amenities are extremely poor. That’s a compromise I might have to make to take a good job

It seems good. I agree CT is generally low col but it depends on where you live - e.g West Hartford is higher col compared to Bloomfield, but it’s also a much better area. From what I’ve seen the only way to get more is to work at one of the many insurance companies.
