Readily apparent most of the folks on Blind are SWE, SDE, PM so on. Does anyone have the new Bands for Global Account Managers and Account Managers for AWS? Seattle preferred but SF and NYC would be great.

    I wouldn’t be surprised if the bands for sales aren’t increasing that much. Sales comp already was competitive with top of market and I don’t think retention and hiring issues existed in the sales org like they do in the dev orgs. (At least for AWS)

      What I meant was: you said your salary was the same as what SDRs make at other companies, but you were only including your base. SDR bases at other companies I think are like around 40k-60k, 40/60 split.

    If base increases are happening, Sales org would have the most to gain, no? Commission component of OTE is 67% of base, so as base finally increases past previous 160K cap (in case of L7/L8, this increase may be substantial), that 67% also gets a nice boost.

    Then accelerators are multiples of that 67%, so this pool gets boosted as well.

    Someone with a 160K salary (107K comm) getting bumped up to 200-210K is now getting 130-140K @100%, and their accelerator pool is jumping from 320K > 390-420K. That's very substantial. Director level on such a plan might see salary jump up to 250-300K range, meaning cash comp @100% can exceed 500K.

    I think sales org has the most to gain from the base cap increase.

      Yes, we get commission, but commission is also based off our base. Let’s say you’re on a 60/40 split. That 40 is way bigger if your base is 200k versus 136k
