Is the ghc career fair only for women or can guys attend it. As a guy, I thought the career fair is open for all and a good opportunity to network with so many tech companies but one of the recruiter said why are you here this is no place for you guys. Just curious

You can but they are not there to hire you. It’s awkward.
The whole purpose of career fairs at gender exclusive events like GHC is to eliminate males, mostly Asian, Indian and White males, from the pipeline and increase share of female among interviewees/new hires. Not through the fair competition, but through exclusion, companies and SJWs among HRs strive to achieve workforce with desired percentage of females/males.
There are a lot of guys at GHC this year, and they're getting hired as well. There's no rule anywhere that says it's women's-only. It was assumed that it'd be common decency for men to not go there (except for recruiting), so no official rule was made about this, which was a mistake.
