Pandemic online retail bubble is going away, Andy cannot replace Jeff fully, GCP is growing bigger&faster and now threatening AWS, Youtube is skyrocketing, antitrust things are not happening, privacy things are not concerning, search is still robust, top overpaid talent is shining... And finally Google has passed Amazon in market cap! Microsoft next!
Ohhh yeahhh!! Fuck Amazon
Why?
Join and feel it yourself. It’s an refreshing experience
goog is still a one trick pony
Have you seen the bets they have for future. Some of those will work and continue helping google
Have you seen how many projects google has killed? Sundar recently said that search engine is still their main game.
GCP still loses money every quarter, lol
Yeah OP dosent have any stats
Profit is overrated, look at growth
GCP is very far away from AWS.
Stock prices reflect future expectations, not the current situation.
Fine
I own both stocks so not biased in any way, I do believe AMZN has more upside long term than GOOG, just because What all Amazon is going after vs how much Google is aiming for. Amazon is expanding their addressable market in all directions, where as Google is catching up to AWS at best case. Except for waymo I don’t see any other moonshot coming out from Google in next decade. Apple is similarly positioned - very few moonshots and more of the same.
Amazon will falter if they continue to mistreat employees.
My unbiased, and also biased opinions for long term: GOOG>AMZN>AAPL. Sum up the total addressable market of video communications, cloud infrastructure, AI, marketing, advertisement, self driving cars, Internet infrastructure, mobile operating systems... and then multiply them by a big ratio and you will get your answer.
OP, lot of ppl will sneer at you here but what you said is slowly happening. This is not all, SHOP is growing fast. Bad acquisitions like , Whole foods will start showing up more conspicuously and Amazon GO isn't going anywhere. Retailers as such will get better at e-commerce and pandemic wiped out bad ones. MSFT and Google both investing in Cloud heavily now , personally know many ppl switching to Azure and GCP from AWS, just because they don't want to be dependent on AWS Everything looks fantastic when things work exactly as planned, one bad thing will unveal the next one and so on. If AWS will slow down and doesn't make money or grow as fast as it did , where's the money coming from ? Matter of time ...
What are you talking about, Whole Foods has been considered a good investment. Online grocery and pickup orders are up + they reuse locations as Amazon customer service locations.
Don’t forget boom supersonic which Aws is behind it
Pass Amazon okay, pass big daddy Microsoftie, No way. I believe Microsoft will pass Apple in a few years
I’ve been selling my GOOG and putting it in AMZN
Good job, how much $ you have lost as the opportunity cost?
GOOG is up 40.83% YTD. AMZN is up 0% YTD. You do the math.
Fuck amazon!!!

I am starting to think Chinese interviewers currently fail non-Chinese candidates on purpose.
Congrats! 🍆
