^ Please post your reasoning in the comments below. If it matters, I am a senior data analyst doing some SQL processing, some Excel analytics, some data modelling/predictive analytics in R. I have a non-CS engineering degree and MS Analytics from a not so great school. I am looking to transition into a better career like an ML engineer in a top tier company, which hopefully comes with a better pay.
You could just apply for and get a job that pays you more if this is about money
While an MS in CS looks better than ms analytics, I don’t think it’s worth the time and investment. Way better off studying on your own and learning ml skills and building projects at work or on your own time

Best LCOL or MCOL city?
I'd say UIUC if it didn't cost $106k. Gtech because it's under $10k and the school is on-par with Illinois for engineering
UIUC is $17k if he’s talking about the online program. Both are great programs that are very affordable and part time friendly
