  • Depending on how early stage you are talking, you should be able to make an impact immediately in some way or another, even if it’s just correcting bad assumptions in your area of expertise.

    Very early startup with less than 20 developers will expect you to be productive from day 1. Unlike faang who hires who can solve leetcode, startups hires who has done similar work or has domain expertise. So automatically you become productive from 1st week

    Much shorter than Google’s. You should find out what the new company’s stack is during the hiring process, and spend time familiarizing yourself with it prior to joining.
