Posting on behalf of my wife
She is on my h1 and holding h4-EAD and working for a remote job. In this year’ h1 lottery her name is selected.
My extention will be filed around oct 2022, amex only does premium processing and files exactly one week before expiration, and we all know these days EAD and h4 visa extension both taking time and chance of losing job is more.
Is it good to switch to h1-b or stay with ead with job loss?

It’s lesser of the two devils, tbh.
