When we talk about pay gap, why do we limit ourselves to 2 genders only, men and women, while there are more genders. For multiple genders, how should be compare the gender pay gap and what type of metric can be used? Should we do a pairwise comparison of the average values or ANOVA test? Also, is average a good metric for comparison?
