I’ve been trying to get interviews for a couple years now with a prestigious tech company for a PM role, but I haven’t had much luck and its become really depressing. So far I’ve only been interviewed by MS (new grad PM) once and Amazon (Senior TPM) once. I really feel like I could do well in the interview process if I were given the chance, but I don’t know why I’m almost never hearing back from companies. I have moved up in my current company (digital agency environment) pretty quickly PM>Senior PM>Program Manager in less than 3 years, so I must have decent competency, right? If anyone could maybe help take a look at my resume and give some feedback, or even go as far to help refer me, I would be forever grateful! If you have any other advice, please let me know. YOE: 5 (all PM related) #tech #pm #product #faang #interview
OP, I am at a digital agency myself and I can tell you that transitioning to product is HARD. Most PM roles need the candidate to have a SaaS product experience which I'm guessing you don't have either, given the digital agency background. Dm me if you wanna chat, I have been trying for over a year.
Sounds good - let’s chat!

I'm confused, are you looking for a program manager role or a product manager role?
I’m currently in a Program Manager role and looking to get into Product, but I’m open to either. Really just trying to take the next step career wise and gain experience at a tech company
