Getting a high offer from citadel

I've heard a rumour that beyond a specific tc threshold (500k?) Citadel recruiters have to get the approval of auditors from an external company. Is that true? Any info on that company?

How is this relevant to anything you may encounter or control in a hiring process?

Definitely not true for securities. Maybe true for the hedge fund, dunno. But also, who cares?

Well it'd be nice to know what I'm up against...

If you don’t get the 500k you want, it has nothing to do with some random company not giving approval

Given that my total tc is already a little above that, that would just be sad...

Yes, I believe the process of getting a 500k+ offer from Citadel is much more involved than typical "new grad" offers. A lot of people in HR etc. need to sign off. It may also include a "leadership" assessment. Source: Close friend.

I think everyone does leadership assessment. I am new grad PhD and they did it with me. Also my hiring package went through many layers of approvals.

No, I don't think so. There's a comp threshold for the leadership assessment. Did you end up joining citadel?

Does Citadel hard screen GPA for experienced hires?

Apparently the company that does the external assessment is ghSMART... Not sure what to expect.
