Getting software job in Canada from California
I am thinking of doing this due to the great uncertainty of Green Card situation in the USA for Indians and I want to live with my very old parents to look after them. (Moral police: excuse please 🙂) So if I am able to clear technical interview with some big company in Vancouver (I am good technically this way) and get job offer as a engineer/manager/director, do I still have to get my education credentials evaluated with WES or any other agency for that matter to secure Canada PR? #canada #immigration #greencard #h1b

If you’re over 30 years old, forget about Canada PR.
There is good thread on quora follow that. Take ielts and then do all other paperwork later. Very standard process.

So what I meant is that if I have a job offer already, do I still need to get my education evaluation done for PR? Or does the job offer obviates the need for WES evaluation?
Job offers gives you extra points but doesn't obviates WES evaluations.
TC in Canada - Vancouver / Toronto is basically shit. I got PR and made the move from SF to Toronto for 2 yrs, I'm trying to move back to SF now. If you have wife/kids, quality of life is much better in Canada, if you're single stay in US and continue the hustle
