I used to live in LA and moved to Austin - probably one of the worst decisions I made in my life.

  We literally all do the same things no matter where we live. Doesn’t matter. Weather is the major decider. I live in LA. it’s fine but how often am I going to the beach, Disneyland, etc. not very often. Traffic is back to sucking again so it takes forever and I am in the rat race so I never have time.

  For tech, LA / Austin are comparable. LA has too many super PC people. Austin is much more normal.. although becoming more PC with too many Californians moving there.
