Global entry for Indian citizen
What is expected time line for getting a global entry for Indian citizen? Has anyone done it? Which place in India did you get it from and how long does it take? I am planning to visit India for my Visa Stamping and was thinking about applying for Global entry as well during this trip. Do you think that’s a bad idea?

Being owner of Indian one can do that? I doubt?.
Global entry - AFAIK - is only for US citizens or Green Card holders. I have one and its only use is when flying in to the US (global entry kiosk, no CBP interaction).

Applied and got police verification done in India in mid Oct. Still waiting for conditional approval. Neither Indian Passport office nor CBP will entertain queries, so sounds like a carefully orchestrated scam.
Got my conditional approval in June, and had my interview today. Status changed to Approved an hour later, and I'm told to expect the card in the mail in 2-4 weeks.
My dad got a call from tax authorities as well who had no clue about global entry but the papers went to them for clearance
