Girl works in Europe. I work in US on visa. Girl finishes her university in December and majored in Aerospace. Due to strict visa policies, strict citizenship requirements for aerospace industry, it is unlikely she will get a job in her field here. Since she just finishes university she does not want to toss her degree out for a guy and just come here and not work/do something unrelated to her major and interest. I for one am not ready to move to Europe because I too graduated recently and mainly for visa and language concerns (will lose visa if I leave) So looks like our run is coming to an end. What can we do? We have already been long distance for 1.5 years and it would suck to continue long distance while we both work in different countries with no end in sight 😔
So ... end it? If you're both new to your jobs, then you're probably young too. Live your life for a while without each other and see what the world brings to you.
Find another girl, you'll be fine I promise ya
I am scared not gonna lie. She is my first gf and I don’t want to lose her
You'll be fine bro, it sounds like you folks are young. You wanna experience the world, other donuts, etc. until you settle, trying to grab onto something not meant to be is going to do you no good.
Not meant to be? Sorry to hear that, but you’ll be ok. You’re too young to think she is the one. I promise you, you will change a 100 times by the time you’re 30. Her too.
Move on.
Eh move on.
Clearly you two don't love each other enough to make sacrifices. Move on.
This is true. You will find a way if you want to be together.
Or both move to Canada

On that note, listen to others and move on.
Move to Amsterdam or Berlin good tech scenes
+1 for Amsterdam
Why won’t she get job in the US?
US immigration policies are one of the strictest. The options are - 1) student visa, which she is not considering since she just finished university and also due to crazy costs of universities here 2) L1 - internal transfer within company in her home country which have offices in States. Again this is rare and most companies will want to do this for experienced hires and really dependent on positions available at the time etc
Why won’t you move there?
