Hi everyone. I wanted to apply for some Microsoft positions that I found interesting, but before doing so, I wanted to get the community’s opinion on the teams these positions are for. I want to avoid any teams with *poor wlb, toxic culture or ancient tech stack*. Searching in Blind, I could mostly see posts about the orgs, e.g., how bad wlb was in Azure or how toxic WebXT was as a whole. But I know these things vary with team, so here they are: * Azure Cosmo DB * Azure Storage * Core Services team * Azure Media Services * WebXT - ObjectStore * Azure Messaging * Office for the Web team (Edit: forgot about this one) Out of these, which ones would recommend and which ones should be hard-pass considering wlb, culture and tech? Blind Tax: * TC: $71K (BRL 381K) * YoE: 5 #microsoft #azure #webxt
Best is Edna C.’s team. You are always high on whatever the f endicia of shit means.
I feel stupid for asking this but who is Edna C and which team are you referring to?
All of those Azure teams besides media services are like tier 0 critical infrastructure services. On-call will be hell and the complexity will be massive.

What is BRL? Why do you only want azure teams?
Brazilian Real i suppose
BRL (Brazilian Real), it is our country's shit currency. It was not intentional. I'm interested in Distributed Systems, so the job postings that ended up finding interesting were mostly for Azure teams.
