Whats the good start date in Amazon to make sure you will not miss review/refresher because hired too late? For example, may be it's important to be hired before January 1st or something like that. Also I heard Amazon vesting schedule is really skewed and they use sign-on bonus to compensate for it. What is the vesting schedule for the bonus? Every paycheck distributed through the year or whole bonus is paid on first paycheck (like real sign-ons from other companies)? TC: 307K, YoE: 16
Amazon doesn’t really give refreshers unless promoted...
And even so if stock appreciated before “you’re fine”
Heard of something like this only for Google. You need to join Google before Jan 1st to get refresher for that year

Seems like you are really uninformed about Amazon s compensation structure. It's been answered already multiple times. Stocks vest as 5 and 15% in year 1 and year 2 then 20% every 6months. Sign-on bonus are paid monthly for either 12 or 24 months. No refresher or bonus in first 2 years
Yeah I know about 5-15-20 schedule, just wasnt sure about monthly for sign-ons. Thank you for filling the gaps!
