Joined Meta 4 months back and pay is good but I am not enjoying work at all. It’s impacting my productivity and routine to an extent that I don’t feel like showing up to work. I have discussed with my manager, who is a nice person, as well but looks like thats the reality of ground. I am now confused what to do as changing teams is also not an option due to 1 year limit. Changing job would be an option but worried that new place might be similar but I can probably ask better questions now to understand role. Any help or pointers would be helpful. Tc : 300k
YOE?
Since it's meta I would just struggle through the year
YOE?
this is a bit of a tangent, but do you pick up any indicators/signs during bootcamp that the team youre talking to could turn out like this?
Why don’t you enjoy it
YOE is super relevant for this question
There have been exceptions granted for team move in as little as six months. I would try and find a better team and move.
My dad used to say “You aren’t expected to like what you do for just 8 hours a day. Use the money and pursue your passion in the remaining 16 hours “
What kind of team is it?
Good wlb is greater than both
