So I was reached out to by one recruiter who was a sub contractor for a subsidiary of Google regarding a Cloud SE role. I had a good talk with them regarding the role and they pushed my info to the NYC team for the role. A week later they went quiet and said that the NYC team had more questions to ask. I gave them my availability but no response for another week and after a follow up email from me a call was scheduled. They basically tell me that the NYC team didn’t feel as if I had enough experience (I have 2-3 years in a SE/pre sales role with an AWS cert) So they recommended some other roles in other states and I believe they may have gotten promoted into google. Not sure? Now is a week later, a different recruiter directly from google has contacted me regarding the same position in NYC/Bay Area. I do want to try for this position and definitely in NYC however I’m guessing it will be the same result? I’d figure the recruiters would have notes on candidates. How would any of you proceed?
Two recruiters, one company? Sounds like a shitshow

Have you talked to the 2nd recruiter? When you talk you be transparent as they have all the records! If that recruiter says you are good to try, then go for it! Otherwise, ask the recruiter for advice. I'm working with two different recruiters for two different roles. They both know and only thing I'm worried is if they share my preference I told one, and if a negative interview outcome even one round may impact the other - they tell me it won't! Time will tell!
