All my coworkers seem to use their phones for both work and personal stuff. If i opt out of fully managed mode, but still use it as a personal device, will Google still see my nudes and all the shit i talk about my manager to my friends? Is it a big deal? What are some things i should legitimately worry about putting on that phone?
If it’s a company phone, it being fully managed doesn’t mean anything. All data will be harvested once the phone is returned
If they say they won't monitor, would you believe them?
If I get my own phone can I get reimbursed for it?

Who cares if they can see your shittalk.. either 1) they are looking at your data while you work there and that’s clearly a breach of trust and you shouldn’t want to work there anyways or 2) you no longer work there in which case it doesn’t matter. They will/could have access to your personal data, but I guess it depends on what you’re worried about. Me, personally, idgaf and shit talk on slack all the time because of the reasons I listed above.
If manager catches wind of the noods, promotion in 3 months. Only worry if you hate promotions. To confirm you can dm me copies thnx
Doesn’t the company have a privacy policy? My company has a very clearly articulated policy on what is considered personal information on company owner phones. For instance texts are purely personal. So are non- company apps like banking apps. I’m sure google would have one. Without it they are clearly asking for a litigation and they would know it.

If it’s a company owned device, always assume they can.
