Google ~215k or stay at Vmware ~250k
L3 at Google or stay MTS at VMware. Recruiter just said I passed hiring committee and that the offer would only be slightly higher than 200k. I've wanted to work at Google for a long time, but I'm worried this is too big a hit to my short term TC. Will I end up regretting accepting the Google offer?
YoE? Google is notorious for down levelling but isn't L3 for new grad? I'd pick Google if it's a very good team or if you can definitely be promoted in an year. Else, just apply again when you'll be eligible for L4.

Ask for more RSU or signing bonus to make up the difference. Otherwise no reason to take a paycut, wait another year and interview for l4 and negotiate 280k plus
