Google Associate Account Strategist Salary

I recently got offered a job from #Google as an Associate Account Strategist. However, the pay is slightly lower than my current role at Amazon (which I am extremely unhappy in). 2 questions: 1. What is the pay for an average Associate Account Strategist at Google? Glassdoor data seems to be all over the place. 2. When I negotiate my comp with Google, should I simply ask to be matched to my Amazon pay or request to be bumped up 5-10%? Thanks!

No one should ever move to lower pay ! Unless you are changing career change or fed up with current job , even in that case market yourself as what you are bringing to table and why there is no reason to get lower pay than what you currently have

The recruiter at Google is pitching me that these numbers make sense and are adjusted to accommodate the difference in cost of living (Seattle to Ann Arbor). I guess I am definitely going to try to push back and request for a better offer. But the question remains -- should I ask to be matched to my current pay or ask for a 5-10% hike from my current pay?

Also, is there a possibility that they might rescind the offer if I try to negotiate because a few forums I browsed on says "Google doesn't negotiate salaries for entry-level jobs".

What is the the offer's TC?

Are you familiar with that offered role? Heavy sales and cold calls. Often the role new grads take to do their time so they can transfer internally elsewhere.

How much lower? Whats the difference in cost of living? Not sure what culture is like at amazon but at google you don't pay for most things like food, gym and others. That saves a lot

Are you a brand specialist at Amazon?

Yes I am. Do you think it's a good move or not so much?

How long have you been a BS for? If for at least 1-2 years, you should be L3 AS or AM at Google.

Can you switch to the role that's account strategist? I think that's l3

I recently did a career change and something I've learned is it's not all about the dollar. Focus on quality of life. There's always an opportunity cost with everything. Weigh the costs of quality of life. More money doesn't mean you have a better quality of life. Especially if you work longer hours or have to work weekends if you prefer them off. Definitely consider quality of life when making the decision.

I'll give you the advice others here gave me recently, choose happiness over money. Don't be afraid to negotiate.

The average salary of an Associate Account Strategist at Google is $149K per year, ranging from $86.6K to $218K. - Base Salary $57K - Annual Bonus $17K - Annual Equity $75K - One-Time Signing Bonus $30K Here's the source: https://goo.gl/YJH7jz Honestly moves should always be made for a higher salary, unless you really want to do it. Like you said, you are unhappy with your current job so sometimes it is better to switch for a lower salary but keep your sanity. If not, I wouldn't move for less than the average salary.

This is completely off

this info is coming from approx. 170 people at Google who are on the paysa platform + watching Google make offers in this range as well.
