Just got news from my recruiter that HC has approved my application (surprisingly) and the comp team has come up with a figure based on my current salary. He will disclose the figures today over a call. I do not have competing offers and they have my current salary figures. What are the chances of negotiating the offer? It is probably an L3 offer TC: 32 lpa Yoe: 3.5 Edit: The offer is around ~40LPA
Google is known for very less base salary (like 11.5 LPA for freshers), you have chances of negotiating there at least. Stocks are good enough so I'm not sure about that component.
Push for a TC of 40+ LPA if possible, I got offered 35 LPA for 1.5 yoe L3. New grads joining in 2019 got 16 base.
At such an early stage in your career, don't focus so much on money. Focus on learning, money will follow you. If opportunity is better, go for it even if lower pay for now.

^ This is why people are underpaid. Unless you're a Manager or HR trying to save the company some money or put more into your pocket, do as @Amazon says.
Current company?
Oracle
Wow, oracle is paying that much, awesome.
Congrats op for getting into Google. Can you tell what level of coding question you had. How many lc medium, hard?
For first round 1 easy 1 medium-hard Second round 1 easy 1 medium Third round 1 medium Fourth round 1 medium Honestly I feel very lucky because I was 80% sure I won't get an offer. Messed up some of the rounds. But I am always very self critical so it might be that as well.
+30% increase in TC is the standard. They should be offering you somewhere close to 42 LPA
Yes...
You lost the battle when you interviewed without another offer
Yeah, I should have timed my interviews better. I had other offers but already joined somewhere since the process for Google was pretty long and unpredictable. TC used to be 18 couple of months ago. I'll be happy as long as their total TC beats my current one by 20%
You also lost the battle when you gave them your current TC. I did the same, got a ~40L TC at same YoE. They will match your current TC but give a good boost in terms of RSUs.
