Which one is bigger? Fremont area seemed nicer so I'm hoping to match there. Which are some teams in SEA and KIR? Thanks guys!
What is slu?
South Lake Union
Also where you go to ride the SLUT.
Why does Fremont seem nicer? I found some interesting teams in kirkland
In terms of the location. Not sure about the teams yet. Do you know of any teams on Kirkland and or Fremont? It'd be nice to know
There's a lot of big data teams. Bigquery and others
Are all cloud teams in Kirkland eventually moving to SLU ?
KIR exists to house people who want to work on the east side (read MSFT rescues). Both have tons of teams in cloud. Despite what recruiters may hint at you have plenty of options based on whatever location you prefer. Mine tried to convince me on the commute.
Oh I see. I'd love to stay in Seattle so fingers crossed! Any recommendations on teams to join at GCP now?
It's all growing pretty fast. Just ask your recruiter about the kind of work/products you're interested in and odds are there's something close to what you want.
What is the team matching process like? I have my onsite soon, just curious how we get matched.

Cloud is coming to SLU. Start in Fremont to get accustomed
Are all teams in Cloud moving to SLU? And are there more Cloud teams in Fremont? I'm asking as I'm looking for housing right now
Pretty much. Better look around SLU to reduce commute.
