Do any of you googlers know anything about the engineering residency program? I made it to onsites for T3 but hiring committee rejected me. My recruiter is sending to a recruiter for the engineering residency program. Do I have a very strong chance at getting it? And if so is it worth it? I currently work at a no name C# shop in the mid west with TC: 70k 0yoe
Anybody else know about this program?
I know people who have done it. They said very nice things about the program. You get to do the same job as that of a full-time employee(L3). In many cases the candidates convert after the first 6 months itself and the overall conversion rate is also very high. Also you have the option to pick your team. People who have done it highly recommend this program.
Do you think I will have a shot at getting in if I didn't pass HC but was close for L3? Thanks!
Not sure about the criteria G adopts in selecting people for residency program
I hosted a couple of eng residents. You are basically an L3 with a fixed-term contract with the possibility to convert it a regular L3 contract. I highly recommend it.
I will if I can. I have an internal reference who got me my L3 interview and he said that not many got hired like only 200 some? Do you think I have a chance at getting in? I failed L3 HC but it was close and my packet is getting referred to an engineering resident recruiter next week. Just don't want to get my hopes up for nothing
Hey guys, sorry to revive an old thread - but just wanted to hopefully get the attention of someone who has gone through the eng residency process. I am a Masters in SWE and looking to apply. Would appreciate any insights regarding the process and expecially regarding the timeline (when applications open up, when interviews are conducted, and when the actual internship begins) Thank you so much!
are you a diversity either, minority or female, candidate if yes then I put your odds at very very high
I am not. CIS white male. My degree is in electrical engineering is that enough? Haha
Hmm I’m not sure, I thought the residency program was to increase diversity at google
