I am in this trade-off between having good Google FI coverage (Sprint+tmobile) and having good Android software updates. Prioritizing FI coverage: Pixel phones work perfectly with FI, but I'm incredibly upset with its limited lifetime in Android updates. I was quite shocked when IT told me I no longer can use my Pixel for work email because it no longer has security updates - that's way too soon. I know lots of people swap phones every 12 months ,but I'm not that rich Prioritizing software updates: Iphones have pretty quick and durable software/security updates, but apparently Sprint is not supported. LG/samsung: may or may not get Sprint coverage but it could be slow to get software updates, letting off the hook for work email for a couple of weeks until these brands finally rollout updates So, what would you pick? Why did you tag Amazon and snapchat
Attention
Because Amazon has lots of FI users and a pretty strict IT.
By the way, Google Fi uses TMobile too. Careful with Google Fi. When you're on Sprint's network you cannot use data while on a call. Happens to my brother all the time. We're on the phone and I send him emails/WhatsApp msgs and he has to hang up to get them, and then call again.
Sounds like an isolated case. I'm on Fi and on T-Mobile, doesn't happen to me.
For those who voted Samsung, are you satisfied with how quickly it's getting Security Updates?
I don't think fi has access to Verizon network.
BTW, TC? Rules
200 not that it matters much since i'm not tech. Also, makes me pretty depressed to disclose my TC since I'm L6 and many devs with 1-3 YOE earn several thousands more than me
How about getting a year older Pixel phones? They cost very less to switch. ProjectFi on iPhones aren't bad either.
