Google HC after on site interview
I finished my on-site interview for L4 at google on Monday and on Tuesday morning the recruiter called me and told me that I passed my interviews and they are gonna submit the feedback to hiring committee. How long does it take for HC to make a decision? Is it possible to be rejected after passing the on-site interviews? Is it possible to get downleveled? Also I heard google has a day off this Friday and HC normally happens on Friday. Does it mean it’s actually gonna happen next week for me instead? Thank you. I have leetcoded for several months and finally passed the on-site interviews at google. So if I get rejected by HC or something I might cry my heart out 😩 any info would help TC: 180k Yoe: 2
Congrats! but im confused... how do you pass the onsites before reaching the HC? I also had my onsite recently and my recruiter sent my packet to HC as well but didn't say that I "passed" the onsite

Sorry to say but you're confused. She may have an Idea of how well things went in general but you haven't "passed" anything.
Hiring committee decides if you pass the on-site or not. Going to hiring committee without team match is a good sign. You should clear HC. I had the same timeline and got an offer recently. Best of Luck!

There is no such thing as passing onsite. HC is the only one which can decide if the candidate is hired (passed) or not. The recruiter may have given a hint that the feedback is overall positive. The decision is in the hands of HC.

When you pass your on site it gets sent to HC for final yes/no vote, salary and level too. Sometimes you can get the offer but team matching may not work out so just have to keep at it. Best of luck! And update post when you get your offer
Yea I heard team match could take a long time for some people but I thought I already interviewed with the team. Because my interviewers were from the same/similar team?
OP just relax.. As long as you believe and gave your best, I would say take a step back and relax. Let the results come out. This is something thats not in your control now. So just chill 🍺

I read this post and literally thought you were me haha. Also at msft. Just did my onsite last Monday. Heard my package would be sent to hc last Thursday. Just heard back today I got approved for l4 and will now start team matching. 2 yoe Tc 180k L60

I also had my onsite last Monday. My recruiter asked for my transcripts and then emailed me today that the "leadership team" is reviewing my packet. I don't know what to expect... :(
What was your study approach? How did you decide which leetcode questions to do?
Top 200 Facebook, google questions. Also leetcode explore cards. Top questions for each category as well: string array, tree, graph, dp, etc
