Once your packet goes to HC? How much chance will you be accepted? I thought recruiter will send your packet to HC only if the results are good. so shouldn't it have better chance in HC?
HC has different thoughts than the recruiter. And decision is up to HC and includes some background info, research, references, budget, open positions, other candidates. But once handed to HC you chances are about 50/50
Nope. It's closer to 1/7
Yes, might be more accurate. It is tough to get in
Did your recruiter mention anything about feedback?
In my experience (no longer doing HCs) about 2/3 (chances it moves past the HC, not chances of being extended an offer)
I got rejected at HC.
What was your interview feedback?
I got rejected after HC accepted me. Got rejected fron HR VP in MTV basically on the last doorstep
In my case, i passed HC and one of the member of HC was super excited to fetch me on his team. He/She called me first for team match, but then they found i wasnt excited about their product. All of this info is from recruiter. In the end, i spent 2 weeks for team match talked to 5 teams and got matched to 2 teams.
If you're at team matching stage, does it mean you're past HC?
Team match can happen before HC.
Not necessarily. Recruiter might ask you to meet teams before going to HC. Just makes the case stronger for HC
For EMs team match happens before going to HC. Engineers dont need a team match before HC - this is what my recruiter told me. Then based on how many teams approach you and try to sell you, you can guess your chances of getting in.
I got 3+ and 2- made till HC stage, and was rejected from there. So I would say chances are 50/50. Good luck.
1/7
