So recruiter told me I have 3 hires, 1 leading no hire and 1 no hire. Recruiter feedback is: Good part: He said my coding and testing was great. He said you optimized approaches. Bad part: You did a brute force so that’s bad but atleast you were able to come up with a solution. And second was, you used hints to come up with a solution in a round but then you coded it well. He mentioned you got 60/40 chances for hire This is for SETI if that matters. My package is sent to HC committee for review. It’ll probably take 3 days. Thoughts?
You mean interviewers feedback? Or did your packet actually go to HC?
Updated description
Sorry to say but it sounds like a rejection. I work at Google and have seen the HC analysis in the past.
What kind of questions did they ask you in interview ? I know you signed NDA but wondering on what topics did they ask you? For eg: Graphs , trees etc.
NDA. Sorry, they’ll provide you the list
I know. But curious to know atleast the topics. I have interview upcoming in few weeks and assuming that would be helpful for me for preparation.
Recruiters shouldn’t be revealing these info.
I should probably remove this post
Curious is it common to get the feedback about the interview? My recruiter put me straight to team match but didn’t go over details of the interview.
That’s a great sign
How did you manage to get all that info from the recruiter? Have interviewed there multiple times before and usually they’re never willing to reveal any feedback about particular rounds, or even generally as a whole.
What was the first decision?
